This book is a scam.I did learn something from it, however. I learned that now days computer programs scour the web, using search words, to grab cut and paste "information", which they glue carelessly together to make pseudo "books" "about" those the subject of those search words.
The result is then marketed, along with a smattering of high praise "reviews" from co-scammers.
I'm shocked that this book seller let this obviously fraudulent "book" enter its product pool.
The ersatz information is nothing but a shockingly bad 'cut and paste' job, resulting from automated search engine returns, shoddily assembled and sold as a book.
Whole paragraphs simply repeat.
'Deja Vu'? Nope. 'Deja taken advantage of'.
The same tiny supply of factoids show up over and over, dredged from the automated cut and paste search-word results.
The grammar would be laughably awful, if it wasn't part of a bold faced con on people who are trying to learn how to care for beloved pets when those pets have a potentially deadly illness.
This "book" is nothing but a new way to defraud devastated pet guardians, as they try and learn enough to save their pets lives.
Selling this travesty is not OK, and demeans the seller's brand. Fraud is not legal.
How bad is it? Let's use the ending sentence of the last paragraph as if it was the result of Search-Engine-Result Book-Making-Software. Here is an example of how it would come out in "book" form:
Fraud IS not legal. It is illegal. It is against law. Fraud IS not legal. It is illegal. It is against law. Book fraudulent, not with law. Not legal. Legal, this book, not. Fraud IS not legal. Fraud bad. Fraud IS not legal.
That was an example of the book's style of assembly.
. Little of that goes a long ways, doesn't it? Now imagine you have a dearly loved cat with a life or death illness and you trust a book seller to offer you only books that meet quality standards. Or at least to be non fraudulent.
Then you open your Kindle to read up on this pet problem, and this junk is what you find you have purchased. Instead of, say, adding to your desperately needed knowledge of how to help your pet live without suffering. I can't express the depths of my disgust at the person or persons who would pawn this off as useful and informative.

This book wasnt what i expected and told me nothing different than I already
knew. I am looking for a regular book that will provide more information
This book is kind of worthless. It mainly just repeats everything again and again. It wasn't helpful.
not much new here - ok for what it was
The book was printed in Kentucky 1 day before the shipment! There are NO page numbers. There is virtually NO information and what there is - is repeated over and over on every page. 10 minutes browsing the internet is enough to "make" such useless "book". Whoever produced it should be ashamed selling it to people who seek REAL answers for their sick pets. Besides, some of the information (especially about the diet) is plain wrong and unsupported by real veterinary research.
DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK! It has no information beyond the basics your vet will tell you. It has numerous sloppy mistakes as well. The title inside on the title page is misspelled! Throughout there are mistakes such as this one ". . . a natural diet will supple most of its water." It only got one star because there is no option for zero stars.
This was very helpful for a cat owner who suspected a problem with the way I was feeding my cats, Lots of good info on the type of food required by felines, amounts and number of feedings per day...My cats are already exhibiting better health after a couple of weeks with the new program,.
Don't waste your money!!! A less than one star "book". I am returning!!! More like a pamphlet than a book, Large print (16-18 font), only about 45 barely filled pages (pages aren't even numbered). Printed on demand the day it was mailed. Computer gleaned, plagiarized and compiled from unreliable information sources from the internet (word for word), repeated over and over (again word for word). A MUCH BETTER BOOK is "SUGARBABIES A HOLISTIC GUIDE TO CARING FOR YOUR DIABETIC PET" by Randi E. Golub CVT (Certified Vet Tech) (also available on ). Although I'm open minded, I was a little "leery" of "Sugarbabies" at first because of the "holistic" statement in the name. I wanted solid medical information based in solid science. "Sugarbabies" is just that, the author is a Certified Vet Tech who explains everything you need and want to know in terms the pet parent can understand. It covers everything from what diabetes is, to how it affects your pet (and you), to even instructions on how to give shots. I have read every book on the market and this is the most complete in every way.
